On September 11, 2001, a terrible tragedy was perpetrated on the United States. Over 3,000 innocent people were murdered. Numerous firefighters, police officers and other emergency personnel gave their lives in an effort to save others!
On October 6, 2002, a handful of friends planned to get together to honor those who died with a ride from Boston, MA, through Hartford, CT, to Ground Zero in New York City. The "handful" of friends ended up being over 200 bikes!
This great tribute to the innocent victims of 9-11-01 was surpassed by the overwhelming turnout for the second annual Remember 9-11 Ride that was held on September 21, 2003! 2046 people registered and rode from Hopkinton, MA, and Wallingford and Greenwich, CT, to Ground Zero and the Hell's Kitchen Firehouse in New York City!

The First Remember 9-11 Ride was held on Sunday, October 6, 2002. The second ride was held on Sunday, September 21, 2003, The good Lord Blessed us with beautiful days for both rides and the people of New York were pleased for our support! Motorcyclists from as far away as Toronto and New Brunswick, Canada joined riders from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
The third annual Remember 9-11 Ride took place on Sunday, September 19, 2004. The ride staged in Hopkinton, MA, and at the Connecticut 9-11 Memorial site at Sherwood Isle State Park. Over three hundred riders participated and enjoyed another spectacular day, ending up at Coney Island in NYC.
The fourth annual ride was held on Saturday, September 10, 2005. Once again we had a great day for the ride. Our CT SP motor escort did a great job getting us safely through CT and our NYPD escort did a stellar job getting us through the City. We took time to reflect at Ground Zero...it's hard to believe it will soon be five years ago that war was declared on US!
