website!

The 2011 Remember 9-11 Ride is in the history books for Saturday, September 10, 2011!

The ride will left from exit 3 off I-95 in Greenwich, CT, at 12 Noon.  Our New York State Police escort met us at the state line and by 12:15 we were at the City line!  NYPD brought us as close to Ground Zero as they could!  Surprise!  Surprise!  Surprise!

Thanks to our hosts, the Glenville Volunteer Fire Department!  Thanks also to the Greenwich police department for their assistance and support!  Thanks to the NY State Police and NYPD for a great escort - as always!  Most importantly thanks to you all who came and made the ride!  God Bless you and God Bless America!  May God save this great country!!!

More on the day and the ride later!  T-shirt info to post here later this week!

Please join groups coming in from the following areas:

Milford, NH - Shaw's Supermarket - meet Monty - KSU 0600

Lawrence, MA - Denny's on Rte 114 - meet Erik - KSU 0600

The 2010 ride took place on Saturday, September 4th, and we had a great ride!  The day started for many of us in Massachusetts and New Hampshire with torential rains...one rider said he looked up at the sky before 5AM and had a beautiful clear, starlit sky...and a short time later it was pouring!  Fortunately by the time most of us left home it had stopped raining!  The day got better and better as we rode on!  By the time we hit the city it was about 75 and beautiful!

Our host in Rye was most gracious!  Our escorts, from the NY State Police and NYPD were - as usual - outstanding!  I have to believe that for our two youngest guests this had to be the thrill of a lifetime - and I'm sure not for just them!!!

Thanks to our host, our NY State Police escorts and our NYPD escorts!  Fabulous job!  Thanks for making this ride what it was!

Thanks to all of you who came!  While we did not have the numbers we have had in the past we did have a great group of dedicated riders!

No news yet on next year!  I'd keep Labor Day weekend open...and...Saturday, September 10, 2011!!!  More information will post here as soon as we have it!  We are in the planning stage now!  Once we have something we will post it!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the individuals and the families of those involved in the accident.
Thanks to all of the volunteers who made the ride such a success this year at registration, parking and on the road!

Thanks also to the Glenville Volunteer Fire Department and the people of Greenwich, CT, for hosting a ride stop and starting place!

Thanks to all the Motor Officers, the CT State Policem NY State Police and the NYPD for their help with our safety escort!

The 2008 ride took place on Saturday, October 4th and we had another good ride! The weather cooperated although it was a little chilly at the beginning and the end of the day.

God Bless America!

On September 11, 2001, a terrible tragedy was perpetrated on the United States. Over 3,000 innocent people were murdered. Numerous firefighters, police officers and other emergency personnel gave their lives in an effort to save others!

On October 6, 2002, a handful of friends planned to get together to honor those who died with a ride from Boston, MA, through Hartford, CT, to Ground Zero in New York City. The "handful" of friends ended up being over 200 bikes!

This great tribute to the innocent victims of 9-11-01 was surpassed by the overwhelming turnout for the second annual Remember 9-11 Ride that was held on September 21, 2003! 2046 people registered and rode from Hopkinton, MA, and Wallingford and Greenwich, CT, to Ground Zero and the Hell's Kitchen Firehouse in New York City!

The First Remember 9-11 Ride was held on Sunday, October 6, 2002. The second ride was held on Sunday, September 21, 2003, The good Lord Blessed us with beautiful days for both rides and the people of New York were pleased for our support! Motorcyclists from as far away as Toronto and New Brunswick, Canada joined riders from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

The third annual Remember 9-11 Ride took place on Sunday, September 19, 2004. The ride staged in Hopkinton, MA, and at the Connecticut 9-11 Memorial site at Sherwood Isle State Park. Over three hundred riders participated and enjoyed another spectacular day, ending up at Coney Island in NYC.

The fourth annual ride was held on Saturday, September 10, 2005. Once again we had a great day for the ride. Our CT SP motor escort did a great job getting us safely through CT and our NYPD escort did a stellar job getting us through the City. We took time to reflect at Ground Zero...it's hard to believe it will soon be five years ago that war was declared on US!
